Welcome to the world of Grand boats!
Thank you for purchasing the Grand Inflatables. We hope you will spend many pleasant years sailing with him. Please take a few minutes to read this Warranty Guide. In it you will find a lot of important information about the benefits offered by the Grand guarantee. The validity of the warranty, which is an integral part of the warranty card, is described in more detail below. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact the dealer from whom you purchased the boat.
Warranty conditions:
The warranty period begins on the day of delivery of the vessel (to a natural person for non-commercial use) and is valid on:
inflatable folding boats 2 years
RIB 2 years + 3 years extended warranty *
the manufacturer’s standard warranty on RIB vessels for commercial use (legal entities) is 6 months from the purchase or by agreement of the seller and the buyer more, but with mandatory 2x annual preventive inspections (see conditions extended warranty *) and not more than 5 years.
If the repair lasts more than 10 days during the warranty period, the warranty period is extended by as many days as the repair lasted.
The on-board warranty covers the replacement of defective parts and assemblies or their repair in such a way that they are technically faultless. The warranty does not cover the costs of berths, lifting and lowering of the vessel and deliveries to and from service workshops.
The warranty expires if the damage to the vessel is due to:
non-compliance with the instructions for use.
repairs in an unauthorized workshop
without renewal of the warranty with inspections *
In order to maintain the quality of the vessel and materials, the boat must be inspected at least 2 times a year at an authorized service center.
We recommend before the start of the season and preparation for winter. After the inspection, the date of the inspection and the signature of the service technician who performed the inspection shall be entered in the warranty card. In this way, we avoid possible subsequent failures that may occur due to non-maintenance of the vessel or improper maintenance. In the event that the vessel is well maintained, the warranty booklet is confirmed, otherwise the owner is warned of irregularities or the seller may withdraw from the warranty / warranty extension.
* Extended warranty and inspections are performed at the headquarters of Moto-Nautika d.o.o. or under the authorization of an authorized service technician.
The warranty does not apply to the following cases: Normal maintenance and regular inspections, replacement of parts due to wear, damage caused by force majeure, fire, collision or accident; failure caused by improper use, improper transportation, or storage; failure caused by an unauthorized service technician with improper intervention; for parts that wear out quickly and need to be replaced several times during normal use (incomplete list: screws, various seals, contact joints, external installation, ..), transport costs to the dealer who performs the repair and back.
Instructions for the warranty procedure:
The owner is obliged to immediately report the identified defect to an authorized workshop (information on the first page). The owner is responsible if he causes damage to the engine by registering too late. Ask your dealer for more information. The shipowner must not interfere with the vessel or carry out repairs himself.
* The extended warranty of the vessel is taken into account with proper maintenance of the vessel and regular inspections within the prescribed deadlines (2x annual inspection – before and after the season). If these maintenance checks are not performed regularly, the reliability and safety of your vessel may be reduced and the warranty void.
The warranty does not exclude consumer rights arising from the seller’s liability for defects in the goods
The territorial area of validity of the guarantee is the Republic of Slovenia.
The guarantor guarantees the properties or faultless operation within the warranty period, which begins with the delivery of the goods to the consumer. For goods for which a guarantee is issued, after the expiration of the guarantee, the guarantor provides the consumer with maintenance, spare parts and attachments in accordance with the legal deadline.
The cost of regular inspections and maintenance and the cost of replacing parts that need to be replaced due to normal wear and tear are the responsibility of the owner.
Defects and injuries resulting from improper use, neglect or accident are the responsibility of the owner, and all related and consequent costs are borne by him. The costs of dismantling and / or inspecting the vessel shall also be borne by the owner if it turns out that the defect is not covered by the warranty.
In the event that you sell the vessel during the warranty period, it is necessary to inform the trader about the change of ownership, as this is the only way to transfer the warranty conditions to the new owner. change of ownership is communicated to the e-mail address [email protected] or by regular mail with the data of the new owner (name, address, date of change of ownership, vessel ID number and consent of the new owner by providing data to claim the guarantee)
